In March 2024, the UBJ Foundation, in collaboration with Arc Ability, organized a special event to
celebrate Independence Day. This heartfelt celebration was dedicated to disabled individuals from
the village of Roches Noires, bringing joy and community spirit to those who attended.
Key contributors to the event’s success were Mr. Raj Suntuck and Mr. Soovan Sharma Dookhoo, who
played significant roles in its organization. The event featured a variety of food and soft drinks,
ensuring that everyone was well-fed and comfortable.
The atmosphere was filled with happiness and camaraderie as attendees enjoyed the festivities. As a
token of appreciation, each participant was gifted a shirt, adding a personal touch to their
experience.
