On Sunday, the 10th of December 2023, the atmosphere will be electric as candidates gather at the UBJ premises, anticipation in the air. A well-coordinated schedule guides the day’s proceedings, ensuring an experience that’s both memorable and organized.
The competition kicks off at 13:00, with participants arriving 30 minutes prior, brimming with enthusiasm and creative energy. For the next two hours, they’ll be engrossed in their artistic endeavors, translating their thoughts onto paper, illustrating the spirit of Roches-Noires through their strokes and colors.
As the clock strikes 15:00, brushes are laid down and colors are capped. But the day is far from over. Refreshments await the candidates from 15:00 to 16:00, a time for them to unwind and indulge in camaraderie while the esteemed jury deliberates over their creations.
As the sun dips towards the horizon, the atmosphere transforms into one of celebration. The award ceremony, slated from 16:30 to 18:00, takes center stage. This is the moment when the artistic journey of these young talents culminates in recognition, as prizes, medals, and trophies are awarded to the outstanding artists who have captured the spirit of Roches-Noires on paper.
In parallel to the competition, the village receives an additional gift. A medical camp is open from 13:00 to 16:00, extending care and well-being to all residents of Roches-Noires. As a community-driven initiative, #zenfanrosnwar seeks to address not only creative expression but also holistic health.
Entertainment finds its place in the day’s narrative as well. For those present within the UBJ premises, lively engagement is ensured by our Master of Ceremonies (MC). Laughter, camaraderie, and perhaps even a few surprises await, fostering a sense of togetherness and joy.
The competition is divided into two age categories, 5-11 years old and 12-17 years old, ensuring a level playing field and an atmosphere tailored to each group’s creative needs. Prior to the commencement of the competition, the rules and regulations are elucidated by our MC, ensuring fairness and understanding among all participants.
